Delightful Danes

Delightful Danes 6: More Delightful Danes at the Oscars

In the last few decades, Danish short fiction films have been nominated for more Academy Awards than almost any other European country. These two star-studded programmes include films that have paraded down the red carpet in Hollywood in all their glory. The second programme offers humourous and thoughtprovoking car rides with racists and holy men, ethical debates at hospitals, and old people hiding in wardrobes. It’s tears, laughter and heart-stirring emotions, all the way to the stage at the Oscars.
