TRISTESSE
These are video letters I exchanged with myself. Happy memories, sad memories. They become the past the moment they’re put into words. Poetry is the beauty of memories. This film is dedicated to Kurumi, a cat fighting illness, and to Hana, who is in the midst of a difficult situation.

LEAKS IN THE LINES
Created from laser-etched 16 mm leader and garden footage shot in Paris, the film reimagines the logic of a 17th century garden design manual into a shifting visual system. The film traces how human systems imprint themselves onto natural environments, and how those environments quietly resist.

PINK SCHLEMMER

INVISIBLE HARVESTS
A tactile, stop-motion poem built from decayed 16 mm film, dried kombucha SCOBYs, and bubbling ferments. Treating animation as a process of transformative decay, the film traces inherited rituals and the residue of care. It attends to what persists as memory and language fade.
Canada 2026 / 6:12 / Director/Producer: Stephanie Dudley
DREAMS FOR A BETTER PAST
A photograph, a quiet legacy of power, and ideological battles that echo through generations. When searching through fragments of the past, there are things we choose not to see. How do we inherit what we cannot grasp, forcing us to repeat the same gestures over and over again?
