Science New Wave: Wonder Beyond Facts

This programme presents a selection of films from the Science New Wave, a movement that redefines how science can be experienced on screen, exploring wonder beyond facts. Rather than treating science only as information, these works explore it as a living, emotional, and cultural force – something to be felt as much as understood. Blurring the lines between documentary, fiction, and experimental cinema, the Science New Wave embraces curiosity, ambiguity, and wonder. The films in this programme invite us to see science not just as knowledge, but as a journey – one that connects discovery with imagination, and observation with the human condition.

This programme is presented with support from Labocine.
