In Siegfried Fruhauf’s dream-like etude, human traces from an unimaginably distant past appear as an intensified vision of the origin of painting. Cave Painting leads us to real natural phenomena that have been shaped by civilization. A seemingly spherical thunderstorm of individual images leads us to a rock face whose interior opens pulsatingly.

With their slowly decaying costumes and growing hunger, they continue to make increasingly strange episodes for their fans.

DENTURES
A fish drowns, children feel nostalgic, and the memory of an elderly man is fading as he celebrates his 90th birthday. The entire family has gathered to celebrate. However, Daddy has dementia. When he loses his dentures, he embarks on a quest to find them, with the only impediment being the shifting colours of his memory, which oscillates between the present and the past.

DIPPED IN BLACK
We follow Yankunytjatjara man Derik Lynch’s road trip back to Country (Aputula), as memories from his childhood return. A journey from the oppression of white city life in Adelaide, back home to his remote Anangu community to seek spiritual healing, and perform on sacred Inma ground. Inma is a traditional form of storytelling using the visual, verbal, and physical. It is how Anangu Tjukurpa (myths) have been passed down for over 60,000+ years from generation to generation.
