FUNDING SHORT FILMS
Only in Swedish
Funding is one of the most common answers filmmakers give when asked what the biggest challenge in making a film is. This is often discussed in relation to feature films, where there are still good opportunities to complete the budget during the postproduction and distribution phases. But what about short films? What resources and opportunities are available for financing short films? What strategies have Swedish filmmakers developed to create films that have attracted considerable attention in Sweden and internationally? The Swedish Independent Filmmakers’ Association invites us to a conversation with director Clara Bodén and producer Dea Saračević who will share their experience and best tips on financing.
